1. Introduction

Video Downloader respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. This DMCA/Copyright Policy explains our procedures for responding to notices of alleged copyright infringement and our policy regarding repeat infringers.

2. Copyright Infringement Policy

It is our policy to respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the DMCA and any other applicable laws. If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement and is accessible through our Service, please notify our Copyright Agent.

Your notice must contain the following information:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
  • Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity
  • Your contact information, including your address, telephone number, and email address
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner
  • A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

3. Procedure for Reporting Infringement

If you believe that material available through our Service infringes your copyright, please follow these steps:

3.1 Gather Required Information

Before submitting your notice, ensure you have all the required information listed in Section 2 above.

3.2 Send Your Notice

Send your written notice to our Copyright Agent using the contact information provided at the end of this policy.

3.3 We Will Review Your Notice

Upon receipt of a proper notice of alleged copyright infringement, we will:

  • Review the notice to ensure it complies with the DMCA
  • Take appropriate action, which may include removing or disabling access to the allegedly infringing material
  • Attempt to contact the user who posted the allegedly infringing material, if possible
  • Notify the user that the material has been removed or disabled

3.4 Follow-Up Actions

We may also terminate the accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.

4. Counter-Notification Procedure

If you believe that material you have posted on or through our Service has been removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with our Copyright Agent.

Your counter-notification must contain the following information:

  • Your physical or electronic signature
  • Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification
  • Your name, address, and telephone number
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located
  • A statement that you will accept service of process from the person who provided notification of the alleged infringement

If a counter-notification is received, we may send a copy of the counter-notification to the original complaining party informing them that we may replace the removed material or cease disabling it in 10 business days. Unless the copyright owner files an action seeking a court order against the user, we may replace or cease disabling the material in 10 business days.

5. Repeat Infringer Policy

We have implemented a policy for terminating in appropriate circumstances the accounts of users who are repeat infringers. We consider a user to be a repeat infringer if they have been the subject of multiple valid DMCA notices.

Factors we consider when determining whether to terminate a user's account include:

  • The number of valid DMCA notices received for the user
  • The severity of the infringements
  • The user's response to previous notices
  • Whether the user has a history of infringing activity

We reserve the right to terminate the accounts of repeat infringers at our sole discretion.

6. User Responsibilities

As a user of our Service, you are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with all applicable copyright laws. By using our Service, you agree to:

  • Only download content that you have the right to download
  • Respect the intellectual property rights of others
  • Not use our Service to infringe the copyrights of others
  • Comply with all applicable copyright laws and regulations

7. Our Role

Video Downloader acts as an online service provider under the DMCA. We do not host any copyrighted material on our servers. Our Service provides a tool that allows users to download publicly available content from third-party websites.

We are not responsible for the content that users download through our Service. We do not review, monitor, or control the content that users download. Users are solely responsible for their use of our Service and any content they download.

However, we take copyright infringement seriously and will respond to proper DMCA notices in accordance with applicable law.

We believe in educating our users about copyright law and the importance of respecting intellectual property rights. Copyright law protects the rights of creators and encourages the creation of new content.

When you download content through our Service, you should:
